I bought these to store my heavy winter jacket in my carryon suitcase. It took a very puffy down jacket that would normally take up the entire bag, and shrank it down to a flat pancake that fit perfectly at the bottom of the bag. 10/10 would recommend for traveling to help slim down bulky items. Hand pump is easily traveled with as well.
I was so surprised to see the pump included actually works. I did not need to bring out the vacuum. I ordered the medium size and was able to store a comforter and a lap blanket in one bag. It does not go completely flat but definitely condensed making it easier ton store. The seal takes some effort but it does look like it will protect my items from the elements.
I did a mock test and it worked. I used the pump they supplied and was able to deflate my bag with no problems. It seems like it will save me a lot of space in my luggage letting me pack more. One concern is the pump seems flimsy but time will tell.

OMG I travel a lot and hate paying for bags so I carry the approved size roller bag for spirit , I am a really good packer , but these bags changed the game so much space in my tiny bag now for more things including another bag. I ordered the small ones.
I had only used Glad or Hefty bags. When I moved the movers wrecked by bags full of blankets, bed spreads etc. I needed to get replacements as well as wash all the contents. I ordered these bags and they are wonderful. I had never used a hand pump and found that tricky but with more practice I think I will get the hang of it. I am well pleased !!
